Library

Library is open from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on all working days. Library remains closed on Sundays and other public holidays.
Students will ordinarily be allowed to borrow 2 books at a time for a period of 7 days. Absence is not a cause for returning the books on due dates.

Marking or writing in books is absolutely forbidden. The last borrower is responsible for any defect or mutilation, which are not printed out at the time of taking the books. A new copy of the same book shall replace a book lost or mutilated or 3 times the cost of the book will be levied. If they find any difficulty in replacing the books at the exact position, they can lay them flat on the shelves. Books shall not be misplaced.

Students are allowed to take only one notebook into the library. The Librarian may reserve any book to the Reference Section of the Library on the direction of the Principal. Reference Books can be consulted in the Library. They shall not be taken out of the Library. Reading materials shall not be removed from the Reading Room without the permission of the Librarian. The Librarian is authorized to carry out all the provisions of these rules including levying of fine. Newspapers, Magazines and Journals will be made available in the Library.
